PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE

Dear Parents and Students

        Welcome to Riverview School. The staff and I take pride in helping your children to grow academically, socially, and emotionally.  We are committed to providing a variety of teaching approaches to assist each child grow in his/her own unique way.

        We believe that the best learning climate is one in which parents, children, and staff work together. We ask for your assistance and support in providing the best educational experiences possible.

RIVERVIEW SCHOOL RULES

    Our discipline program is based on the philosophy that:

    The following consequences will be enforced if a student chooses not to obey our rules:

    We will deal with a student's problems at school. The only time a student will be suspended will be for major offenses, for example, fighting, use of profanity, defiance of authority, presence constitutes danger to other students, possession of contraband items.


GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS

For students in the:

A student must have a 2.0 GPA by the end of the 4th quarter.

Options for remediation:

    1. A student can attend "Saturday School" when offered.

    2. Enroll in summer school.

Can a student improve an F grade to a B or A in "Saturday School"? no; a D or C grade would be fair.
